I am currently working on human mtDNA and try to construct phylotree based on my samples. I noticed that a tool called mtPhyl (https://sites.google.com/site/mtphyl/) was used in many studied.
However, somehow it is disable from the link above. I try to contact the authors but no responses. Can someone help me with this issue.

Hi, I found a compromise solution. It is to use the second generation of haplogrep. I recently communicated with the author. Although the third generation no longer has this function, haplogrep2 can still generate the file you need. You just need to install it, and then follow the instructions --extend-report, --lineage 1 parameters, and then use linux's dot -Tpdf > to generate it. https://github.com/seppinho/haplogrep-cmd
Thank you for your answer. Sure I have noticed this function of haplogrep2 to generate phylogeny tree, however, this function do not provide the detail branching similar to mtPhyl, so I still have to manually arrange the samples into specific lineage.
