Can someone provide a simple explanation of calculating molar ratios to weights. For example, I have a molar ratio of Phosphatidylcholine, Sterol, and glycerol at a Molar ratio of 2:1:0.1. I know the molecular weights for each but don't know how to translate this into weight in mg. Take the the molar ratio 2:1 PC approx MW 786 and sterol approx 414, if there is 188mg of PC/ml how many mg/ml for sterol at 2:1?
