Modern taxonomy of fungi = Morphology + Multi-gene sequencing and phylogeny

I have recently come across some issues related to poor support of some species and genus lineages while working on the phylogenetic placement within a few fungal families (e. g. Dictyosporiaceae and Parabambusicolaceae).

The RAxML analyses of combined ITS, LSU and tef1 alfa dataset separate the novel strain as a distant lineage from all the known species but support was around 50-60%. Even MrBayes' values are around 0.90.

If I consider the morphology, there are 2-3 different key characteristics (or more) unique to the genus and species.

If we encounter such a situation, how to propose a valid species/genus?

What are the criteria to be further considered to make it a 'good species' (high support and accurate proposal). We have thoroughly verified the sequence's quality and ensured it good and the ends are appropriate.

Your advice and suggestion would have been a great support. Thank you so much for your attention and guidance, if any.
