I am using activated sludge system to treat the phenol containing wastewater. There are 3 variables throughout the study i.e., phenol concentration, dissolved oxygen level and co-substrate concentration. May I know how to construct a mathematical model by the Excel file attached below? ( Any recommended software, or can Excel do so?)

I assumed there is more data than in the excel file. The is about 30 data points of phenol removal efficiency with 3 sets of condition (O2, phenol, co-substrate). If you have a batch test, and the time event of concentrations of each components, then it is easier to fit the data based on linear regression as Pankaj suggested. Of course, you could go a step further by calculating electron balance then substrate yield, the biomass growth rate to build growth kinetic model such as Monod's.

First of all, thank you for your answering. I am appreciated it. However, I have tried in running Design Expert, the outcome is I cannot get the model by using CCD in RSM.
Due to the reason that, in biological treatment process, let's say the time treating with 100 ppm of phenol containing wastewater, the dissolved oxygen level as well as co-substrate concentration have been maintained up to certain levels i.e., 5 (mg/L) and 1 (ppm). On the other hand, the concern herein is I cannot perform backward testing due to the nature of the study. Therefore, after 100 ppm onward, the dissolved oxygen level and co-substrate concentration have been fixed to 5 (mg/L) and 1 (ppm) respectively.
This is the reason why I cannot run the CCD and RSM since the software required me to test the phenol removal efficiency in the constraints of (100 ppm phenol concentration, 3 mg/L of dissolved oxygen level, 0 ppm of co-substrate concentration) and so on.

I really cannot develop a RSM-CCD model by using the aforementioned data set because the software required me to test the phenol removal efficiency in the constraint such as 100 ppm phenol concentration, 3 mg/L of dissolved oxygen level, 0 ppm of co-substrate concentration. However, this data set was not conducted previously and also no backward testing for this experimental study. So, the question is how am I going to fill the phenol removal efficiency when I do not have this kinda constraint?
