Methodology to investigate the the mechanism of C. albicans to stratifin?

Dear Colleagues,

I would like to investigate the mechanism of C. albicans to stratifin expression. Stratifin is one protein expressed mainly in cancer cells. I am new in this field and I want the view from other experts. Which method can I use to achieve the purpose?
