I wish to know whether the entomopathogenic fungus, Metarhizium anisopliae var anisopliae (shorted-spored Metarhizium) have been renamed as Metarhizium anisopliae or not. Metarhizium anisopliae var major or Metarhizium majus?
Based on Bischoff et al. (2009) [Bischoff, J. F., S. A. Rehner and R. A. Humber, 2009. A multilocus phylogeny of the Metarhizium anisopliae Lineage. Mycologia, 101: 512-530. DOI: 10.3852/07-202.] but I'm still confusing whether Metarhizium has been moved as the new name or not.
I wish the expert can suggest me which name I should be used. thank you.

Metarhizium anisopliae var anisopliae -> current name Metarhizium anisopliae (Metschn.) Sorokīn 1883

According to that paper the name should be Metarhizium anisopliae (see also http://www.speciesfungorum.org/Names/SynSpecies.asp?RecordID=101834).
The second name should be Metarhizium majus, not Metarhizium anisopliae var. majus (see also index fungorum, http://www.speciesfungorum.org/Names/SynSpecies.asp?RecordID=512410). There is list of synonymous and current name.
