Hey guys,
I am currently doing tube formation assay on matrigel coated coverslips, and i wonder if there is any possibility to get rid of the meniscus formation? I have only a small part of the coverslip which is imageable. I tried rubbing paraffin on the edges of the wells but this didnt work well and was also kind of a mess. I appreciate any suggestions!

The underlying problem really was the formation of a meniscus which resulted in an uneven surface. We finally switched to a 24 well plate format, where in the center of the well there is a flat area that can be imaged under the microscope. It's not exactly high throughput but was good enough for our problem at that time. An indeed, scanning multiple layers would probably help as well if you have the instrument.
