I have conducted mediation analysis using Baron and Kenny Approach.
In Step 1: IV had a significant impact on DV
In Step 2: IV had a significant impact on MV
In Step 3: MV had a significant impact on DV
In Step 4: When Regression analysis had both IV and MV, and their effect was evaluated, Like Controlling for the MV, the results show that the effect of IV on DV is still significant, but the effect of MV and DV becomes insignificant in the step 4.
Now would this be partial mediation or no mediation as the effect of IV on DV is still significant in step 4

So it doesn't matter if in Step 4 the influence of MV on DV become insignificant as long as the impact of IV on DV is significant we can say it Partial Mediation.

I second the responses above. There have been some important advances in mediation analyses, and those are great sources. I will also add that full vs partial mediation is somewhat of a semantic/conceptual argument more than a statistical one. The most defensible test of mediation is not whether the effect between the IV and DV is reduced with the addition of the mediator but rather whether there is a significant indirect effect of the IV on the DV through the mediator. Bootstrapping procedures are the best practice to identify the significance of this effect. Best of luck!
