Media optimization study for 5 factor

I conducted a single-factor study and subsequently employed the Box-Behnken design for optimizing my media, but I did not utilize the Plackett-Burman design. I now need to provide a rationale for not including the Plackett-Burman design in my thesis. I am seeking assistance in addressing this issue.

The purpose of the Plackett-Burman design is screening, which is not always a crucial and unavoidable step.

If you have successfully conducted the Box-Behnken Design (BBD), there is no point in mentioning the Plackett-Burman Design at all. BBD was your plan, period. Don't create unnecessary obstacles just to struggle against them later.
