Hey, How to measure the flow of water in millimeters and for that case, I am looking for a suitable sensor which will be integrated into a Wireless Sensor Network. I have limitations on power also(microwatts). Assuming that flow is laminar and not continuous. I want to detect slightest of water penetration.

Noise caused by strong piping vibration may affect the accuracy of the vortex frequency detection. The two piezoelectric elements installed in the digital YEWFLO are of a polarized structure, so they do not detect vibration in the flow or vertical directions. The noise in the lift direction vibration is reduced by adjusting the outputs of the piezoelectric elements.
You can use YF-S201 Water Flow Sensor . We have used it in a related project and it worked well. It can be used to measure the flow of liquids in both industrial and domestic applications. This sensor consists of 3 parts: 1) plastic valve body, 2) rotor, and 3) hall effect sensor. The pinwheel rotor rotates when water / liquid flows through the valve and its speed will be directly proportional to the flow rate. The hall effect sensor will provide an electrical pulse with every revolution of the pinwheel rotor. This water flow sensor module can be easily interfaced with micro-controllers, Arduino Boards and Raspberry Pi which are all well-known platforms for WSN and IoT applications. Connect the PWM output of this module to interrupt pin of micro-controller unit and count the number of pulses / interrupt per unit time. The rate of water flow will be directly proportional to the number of pulses counted.
