Yes, Colotis fausta (Lepidoptera: Pieridae) known as the Large Salmon Arab butterfly. The normal food plant in the Middle East is Capparis spinosa and Capparis mucronifolia (Capparaceae).
This is a Colotis sp. I think this is a Colotis fausta (Large Salmon Arab). I guess that the location of your photos was Syria, so I don't know much of the Syrian butterflies, hence I can't confirm the species. Colotis fausta is found in Middle East, Africa to South Asia including Sri Lanka, Syria, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, Somalia and India.

In Sri Lanka we have 5 Colotis species including Colotis fausta. Colotis aurora and Colotis danae hosts on Cadaba fruticosa (Capparaceae) while Colotis etrida on Maerua arenaria (Capparaceae) and Colotis amata on Azima tetracantha (Salvadoraceae) and Salvadora persica (Salvadoraceae). Maerua arenaria (Capparaceae) is the only know larval food plant in the Sri Lanka for Colotis fausta.
But dear colleague, there are thousands of butterfly species on Earth. If you requst identification assistance, please be maximally correct and AT LEAST add locality information.
