I have geometric limits (shapefiles) of several sectors where various works on geology in Cameroon have been carried out. From this information, I would like to establish a map showing the density of the geological information. How can I proceed in Arcgis and / or QGIS?

Your question is not specified enough. But if you have values for the geologic information or weighted them. Then you can collect them in one shapefile, convert them into raster and make them classified from symbology. there is another method of converting each shapefile into raster then sum all of them from raster calculator.

In arc gis open arc tool box; go to Spatial analyst; go to density and select point/line density depending on geometry of file you have
Input your file and it will calculate the density

I have a shapefile for different study areas (polygon geometry). In these areas, geological survey (lithology, structural...) has been done. My chalenge is to produce a map presenting the density of the geology data in the whole area as shown in the attached figure.
This is my approach:
- Divide each surface area by the total sum surface area.
- Apply Areal Interpollation as Geostatistical method in ArcGis.
Can I procceed or is there another method

I think it is not interpollation.
first you have to weight the data, by any method you see (divide each surface area by the total, also according to the structures you can divide the sum of their length by the area, or their number by the area, atc.) then you give each class a number (low range values = 1, and so on) then convert them into raster with the new values of weight.
