Can anybody add a point of two about the style of Nature communications manuscript review process:
1. For 21 days the manuscript status was "under consideration".
2. On the 22nd day it went to a " ". Yes a Blank.
Does it mean an editorial rejection is in the making?
Option for transfer of manuscript was selected by the author.

Whatever the editor's decision, he has to inform you about it. If I were you, I would have waited for a message from the journal's editor.

Ronny, The final outcome is a revision and resubmit. On the 29th day it went for external peer review.

I was rejected many times by Nature.
I think that the acceptance of your manuscript may be difficult if you wish to publish your work. On the otherhand if you study seriously experimenntal or theoretical work, your work will be published. A good discovery must be published immediately.
Akihiko Inoue thanks for the reply. My manuscript has both experiments & Theory and is groundbreaking. Uploaded it on preprints. I have recalled by submission and now submitted it to Science Advances instead as I got better results to report. https://www.preprints.org/manuscript/201902.0180/v2
