Does anybody know or has experience, what is the best of deposited material for PDMS? Do I need an adhesion layer between PDMS and metallic thin-film or something else? What should I know else? Important for us: it should be a "biocompatible" material. Thank you very much.
Here is an interesting solution for adhesion problem. Instead of metals, the authors suggest using of "biocompatible" carbon nanotubes in/on PDMS. Such a conductive elastomer can work as an effective sensing probe. Take a look
If you are interested in development of electronic substrates for medical device applications, here is something to read about. In particular, to provide adhesion between the sputtered Cu and the polyimide, the chromium is used in this paper as a “tie” layer.
