Does anybody knows how structures, in my case pillars and holes, influence the wettability behavior?
This depends on the size of the structures. Also you have to check for dual (or in some cases) triple scale roughness. Pillars usually increase either hydrophobic or hydrophilic behavior.
Chemistry also plays a decisive role on what is the wettability of your surface.
You can look wikipedia for "wetting". The wetting behavior on structured surface depend on the system. The content in the wiki is available for the case of "dry" wetting, like a water droplet on a glass, that liquid wet solid without interaction. In another words, there is no solution or formation of new phases between the solid substrate and the liquid.

Wetting depends on chemical composition, and surface roughness of the substrate. Increase in surface roughness could enhance the hydrophobicity due to the trapped air packets between the liquid and the solid, which effectively decrease the solid-liquid contact area.
