I am working on a research about suitable foams for the front sealing of a tumble dryer. My aim is to find the perfect type of foam that has low air permeability and can be used in the front sealing so as to minimise energy consumption. I am currently using a flexible polyurethane foam but as the drum rotates, the foam loses some air . Also, what is(are) the main factor(s) affecting air permeability of foams?
