Hi,

I am trying a ball plate impact analysis in LS-DYNA and Ansys. For the plate, I am using graphene material properties and for the ball, I am using steel or aluminum material properties. I wanna model a hypervelocity case when I give a very high velocity the material's stress-strain curve is the same as the one from the reference paper but when I use velocity 10m/s or 3000 m/s the material still fails however according to the paper it shouldn't fail. This happened in LS-DYNA. When I tried the same case in ANSYS the material (same material property used on both software) didn't fail the smaller velocities. Could someone help me with this?
