In Mexico, there are canyons areas, where some examples of epithermal deposits, with Au-Ag mineralisation that shows Low sulfidation aspect (chlorite, carbonate, fluorite, amethyst, acantite, galena, sphalerite, chalcopyrite), were found above or next to Porphry Cu-Mo stockwork (QSP+ veinlets A+B+D type).
If you have observed such phenomenon, what is the location? If possible, what was distance between the LS epithermal deposit and the porphyry stockwork?
We want to make a compilation of similar examples and their geological setting in Mexico and the other examples in the world.
Joc, these are likely not "low suflidation" epithermal veins, which form in extensional zones, without a relation to shallow porphyry intrusions. Rather, they are of the intermediate sulfidation style of vein, which can form

Thanks for this precious comment. I know pretty well the great paper you made with Sillitoe in 2003. Your recent presentation (april 2020) confirmed explicitly (once again) the link between PCS and HS+IS.
As you have always recommended to me, I only describe the facts.
William Chavez has visited the Tigre project and confirms the presence of Mo-Cu stockwork zones (with PCS aspect). He also confirmed the presence of an epithermal deposit with Low sulfidation textures at located at 8km. In Chavez's opinion, it is two differents mineralisation events.
I'm trying to convince the SGM (Servicio Geologico de Mexico) to make some datation on both mineralisations (galena and molybdenite) to see the time relation of both events. I'll let you know of any development of this project.
This is why I try to investigate deposits with similar geological settings to compare the available information.
