My research team is looking for current research on the experience of indigenous Elders, particularly American Indian and Alaska Native Elders, in the USA who have been residing in long-term care settings in the midst of COVID-19. This is a particularly vulnerable person group, and we are concerned about what is being done to assist them and their carers. There is urgent need to be caring and helping for elderly individuals during this COVID19 pandemic;
1- There's nutritious-food monitoring/procurement.
2- Enabling high levels of cleanliness
3- There's proper physical and mental activities.
4- There's happiness delivery via there's in campus get-together activities.
5- Ensuring them about their safeties and nondependency on others.
6- There's routine medical checkup's.
7- Enabling video talking to there's near & dears.
8- There's physical involvement's like poetery, gardening, story writings etc and its reimbursement via online marketing etc.
9- They should not feel loneliness.
10- There's amusement via movie, news etc.
I read yesterday that it seems that the COVID-19 strikes mostly in blood-group A individuals, far from American Indian's blood-types. Look up in the Internet. I'm sorry for not being able to provide you with the source, I simply read and swiped.
