I am working with lentivirus-infected cells cultured in transwells and wish to use them for trans-epithelial electrical resistance (TEER) measurements using a chopstick probe on the millicell ERS-2 voltohmmeter. I normally disinfect items that have touched lentivirus for 24 hours in 100% bleach, but am unsure if this would negatively affect the probe's silver electrodes. Does anyone have experience in this matter?
