The one possibility is by using stem cells that were isolated from the human dental pulp (hDPSCs) towards functionally active neuronal cells in vitro. This way we may understand molecular mechanism of Zika related microcephaly and Zika's neurotropism.
We are looking at specific targets (Neurofascin) with the miRNA we identified.
