The donkey teaches me perseverance and the need to save and use resources judiciously. Which of the diversities in nature inspires awe and teaches you powerful lessons?
Please, your views are highly welcomed. Best regards
Dear Dickson Adom, I have learned the loyalty to the homeland through ants kingdom, and I also learned that after hardship it is facilitated by the sunrise and sunset
Our Actions Have Consequences. In order to get good consequences, we have to do concern about sustainability.

“We are human beings and we should not forget that there are non-human beings living in this planet, and the non-human beings also have a right to live in this planet. Non-human beings include living creatures such as animals, birds, fish, reptiles, insects etc. As a matter of fact these non-humans are supposed to live and therefore, the term sustainability needs to be applicable to them also.”

Really I have learned that we are living in a sin wave life in all aspects of life, so no thing on the Earth will still stable and every thing in a continuous dynamic periodic motion, this is my engineering point of view.
You always wow us with your interesting viewpoint from the field of engineering. Many thanks for your continual support to academic discussions that are targeted at improving global conditions. Best regards
I am so grateful for the many lessons you have provided from different diversities of life. You are an inspiration for contribution to the growth of knowledge. Best regards
Unless a butterfly painfully struggles to squeeze itself through a tiny hole it makes in their cocoon--their wings will not be rid of the moisture and they will never be able to fly. If anyone thinks they are helping a butterfly by enlargening the hole in some way to get it out of the cocoon, they are actually signing a death warrant. This, of course, teaches that there are some things that people must do themselves to move forward in life.
Gazing at the Sky....looking at mighty Himalayas...the boundless Earth....the deep waters of Ocean.....the enormous power of Wind....everything teaches me that how small we are in this world and powerful the nature around us is....
man should never try to over rule the nature...which gives us so much without any expectations.
I t is all our responsibility to preserve nature for future...without being too greedy to exploit all its resources.
Your great lessons from the magnanimity of the universe and your sound counsel to the world for their perpetual sustenance is very remarkable. Thank you.
Ants to me, give me a great lesson in life, as they work in the summer to have food before the rains start. That is, they teach me how to work for the future.
Cloud is an awesome thing. I like to look at the formation of clouds. Others mistook it for aloofness but the cloud pours, isn't it great? Am I still aloof? No!
My love for the cloud is to enjoy God's great creation and the downpour reminds me to be humble always. Such lessons from nature are useful in my daily routine.
I am grateful for your powerful lesson from the clouds. It's so interesting, true and applicable to life. Many thanks to you for sharing it with us. Best regards
"We're put here on Earth to learn our own lessons. No one can tell you what your lessons are; it is part of your personal journey to discover them. On these journeys we may be given a lot, or just a little bit, of the things we must grapple with, but never more than we can handle."
Question is very broad, few of us write books on our experiences from life, travelling, childhood, student life, life as a teacher, life as a son/husband/father/brother/lover--- a lot
"All the lessons are in nature. You look at the way rocks are formed - the wind and the water hitting them, shaping them, making them what they are. Things take time, you know?"
I learned from mirage of the nature that there are things in life are impossible to achieve, and the closer you step, away from you a thousand steps, do not waste your time following delusions ..
Seasonal crops and plants are signs of life. They appeared for a very short period of time (4 to 6 months) but provide food for the whole planet earth. If a small plant can do such a big job, what we can do in 20 to 80 years time.
I am so grateful for the wonderful lesson from crops and plant life! Indeed, we must leave a major impact in our societies with the time we spend here on this planet to benefit humanity in posterity. Thanks and best regards
One Saturday of the winter of 1981; I was in New York City . The sky was cloudy with light rain and we decided to visit the empire state building. At the roof of the building; I was so surprised to see the blue sky in front of me and the clouds below my eyes. After many years; looking back at that simple event; I learned the following lesson : The light of God is always with us even if our life seems cloudy. Our Heart is the empire state building ☺
It happened few days back, we were sitting and working inside the air conditioned room. because the day was too hot and very dry out side. hot air swirling around even though some greenery outside,
Came out near a window to attend a phone call, casually looked outside window, Our A/C compressor panel fixed there. from that small drops of condensed water dripping out, around 10-15 little, beautiful sparrows flashing around the water drops to drink and cool themselves from the burning sun.
felt very bad, already these little creatures towards extinction. Due to cell phone frequencies, pesticides and pollution. We directly pushed them towards extinction( already, we have done it for may livings things successfully). So, they suffering for few drops of water but we continuously using their resource and killing them softly.
Ok. here many of the experts knows, these sparrows how Eco friendly, how it builds its nest with multiple chambers and including cooling room( Ant as well) without affecting the environment and with out harming any one. Our A/C machine does that? made with plastics - harmful for environment and living thins, filling with Gas - again harmful to every one, lined with copper - copper industries liberating harmful pollution which inducer of cancers, etc., etc.,
there is dialog in the Hollywood movie Marix, it compares how human and virus having the similarity by nature, the meaning, virus and human search for suitable environment for survive, first they enter then adopt then slowly utilize all the resources and finally completely damage the environment. make it inhabitable and search for new place...
One of the amazing thing,
The motherhood, especially in animals and birds, a second before it gives birth or hatches its egg they do not know what is going to happen. Just after a second of birth of its baby, we have see their emotions and activities and struggling to care the neonate, it is ultimate and amazing. The Gods magic we can feel by their change of behavior and body Language within a fraction of seconds,
So learned things, we are no where to comparable with animals and plants, based on their environment friendly, save and use the resources( unless hungry they wont kill or eat anything) team work, use intelligence only save themselves ( not like humans to poke others agenda)
if any of experts feels that we humans superior than animals and plants, please feel free to answer here so that we can learn that secret.
I can not answer you. I speak about the water or about the sun / seas, insects, animals, natural phenomena, sky, earth, eat above ground, metals ........... The list is very long.
I can say that all these things were made available to the man and unfortunately some of them do not know their value
I understand and share your sentiments Dr. Abderrahmane. It's pathetic that many today don't know the worth of the endless things in nature! Thank you for your valuable comment and support for the discussion. Best regards
