For better plant taxonomy I plan make karyotypes. who can tell me an easy protocol to achieve? and how concerver samples before passed karyotype (I traveled long distances before arriving at the laboratory, weeks)?
many things are not in black and white. They are highly skill dependent. Still some might have special skill. We must work hard for it.

Interestingly he too used to come to the lab from a very distant place.
I think maybe you can pre-treat the root-tips during the journey back to lab, just with distilled water will be okay, but keep cold (neighter be frozen).
