I was pleased to learn that jamovi now has an editor that allows one to use code.

But to be truly useful, IMO, it would have to allow one to generate code for analyses that have been set up via the GUI (like the PASTE button in SPSS). Does anyone know if that is possible? Judging by that blog post, I fear it is not. Thanks for any clarification you can offer.

As I understand, the code generated behind every analysis (excluding data import) can be seen and copied. The (relatively new) Rj editor allows to enter own code to be executed.

The "syntax mode" setting that Jochen Wilhelm pointed to was what I was missing.
Asmaa Samir, the Rj text editor you pointed to (1st link below) is not the same Rj editor I asked about (2nd link). It appears to be an alternative to Notepad++, for example (3rd link).
