While there is no doubt that the interest in technology education is rising, the fast progression in the past years has been impressive. Investments as well as the school spendings are on the rise. One might wonder why. This is the reason why I am going to suggest the benefits of multimedia learning brings to the 21st century classroom, which could be contributing to the recent edtech boom.

Learners at the pre-school stage learn better, faster and their understanding of content knowledge is enhanced when visual multimedia is used. These students are able to picturesque all the diacritics of the second language and the fear in the learning is magically rid off if visual multimedia is used effectively. Best regards

If the visual multimedia is interactive, then I believe it is very helpful. Preschoolers love playing games on a laptop or tablet, such that they gravitate to language games. But if the multimedia is simply a video, then I doubt how much preschoolers will absorb.

Yes,…The rapid rising and development of information technology has offered a better pattern to explore the new teaching model. As a result technology plays a very important role in teaching. Using visual multimedia to create a context to teach English(for example) has its unique advantages especially for pre-school stage.
