Have you tried using the "Calculator Block" under the Flowsheeting Options in Aspen Plus? I think that would work for this type of problems. Alternatively, you can use the Design Specs option.

@kisten Aspen plus&Hysys have almost the same configuration, but i think you missed some specification s regarding the block.model (unit operation) you want stimulate. But what kind of unit operation are you modeling
