Using SR fiber diffraction, you observed molecular structural changes in skin associated with melanoma. A change is observed in the equatorial direction of the alpha keratin protein produce x-ray fiber diffraction patterns in all mammals. The change in skin as a possible biomarkers for melanoma revealed an additional molecular change in the diffraction patterns. The diffraction pattern for all melanoma patients had a single additional ring in the same location compared with other types of cancer. Is there currently biological mechanism to explain the changes in diffraction patterns for melanoma patients?  Could be explained by the presence of a human mutation gene? Thank you.
