Dear all!

I am currently looking for code (preferably Matlab) to solve the time-dependent drift-diffusion equations for a mixed ionic-electronic conductor with a single ionic and single electronic species, e.g. the material is a hole-conducting semiconductor and has a single, single negatively charged, mobile ion. Contacts can be considered ion blocking and no chemical reaction should occur.

I have found several paper outlining the solution for a steady state condition (e.g. Y. Gil et al., Solid State Ionics 179 (2008)); but I was unable to find something similar for the transient solution.

Unfortunately my programming skills have steadily degraded ever since I left college and I am looking for a more detailed outline to avoid the usual pitfalls ;)

If someone has recently come across something similar I am very grateful for any help!

Yours,

Chris
