I am performing mesh to mesh solution mapping in Abaqus for adaptive meshing purposes. This requires to use different jobs, producing different ODBs for the "same" simulation.
Is there any easy way to combine the different steps from both ODBs into the same ODB, in order to get an animation?
I have looked into the Combine ODBs plug-in, but it adds all the field outputs at the same time, and not on different time steps as I need for the animation.

Certainly, the most straightforward approach involves conducting individual simulations for each step. Subsequently, you can store the job files along with the .prt file in a temporary directory and then access the .odb file during the step where you intend to merge them.
