Is there any way to separate hydrophobic components from cereals?

I am separating the hydrophobic component from the cereals, and I am concern about the solvent used to such process. Is there any solvent (other than ethanol and PEGs) which has no hazardous effect on health ? Please suggest me such solvents and the process involved in it. It will be great if some article has already been published.

Mustapha Mahmoud Dif .. Thank you for your Reply, but I dont think the solvents you have mentioned are edible. or haven't any harmful effect.
