Is there any way to predict the TM mode of a microstrip patch antenna just by looking at its geometry like rectangular, circular, annular, elliptical and equilateral ? how can we predict TM mode of antenna by using ANN(ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORK)
There is only one rule: count no of half cycle along particular direction to predict the proper mode. This mode will be absolute TM made as the TE mode gets short circuited for Microstrip antenna... It is better to follow the book by C A Balanis, Advanced Electromagnetic Theory, 1989 to learn different modes in waveguides (PEC bounded). Then apply the quality principle to find the PMC bounded cavity microstrip antenna
