collagen is commercially available in liquid as well as in fibrils, is there any way through which we can cure and make a thin layer like membrane using collagen?
I would look for a way to spin coat it into thin and uniform films supported by a microporous scaffold and to photocrosslink the thin film. I don't know if collagen can be photocrosslinked in its native state. If additives are needed I would guess to use a free radical photoinitiator like irganox and a multifunctional acrylate such as PEG-diacrylate
