Is there any transcription factor that has two parts and only function when both parts are expressed?
one example is antibody, that has heavy chain and light chain and can only function when both chains are expressed. But is there any transcription factor that has this feature??

Did you mean that oligomeric structure of a TF? Actually, TFs generally works in a complex manner. They recruit other co-activators and form the desirable complex of protein. TFs even work in the multimeric structure, for eg, HSF1 in its monomeric form is inactive. Upon stimulation it forms the active trimeric structure and moves to nucleus for its action.
