There is not such a possibility. You can only perform test in a time space and in case of transcient colonisation you can observe decline or lack of bacteria count.

I am not sure what are exact numbers. But, there actualy is a difference in term of cfu per sample between transient and persistent carrier and also in terms of serum levels of immunoglobulin G and immunoglobulin A.
