In the past I have used internal standards (IS) for quantification of organic molecules in 1H-NMR. Simply by spiking exerimental samples with a few microliters of a internal standard solution (of known concentration), and then comparing the area under the curve of both the analyte and IS (whilst correcting by the number of hydrogens responsible for each signal).
My question is: is there a commercial substance that can be used for the same purpose for quantification of phosphorylated molecules (organic phosphates like ADP and ATP) when using 31P-NMR? If it indeed does exist, would I simply then correct by the number of P atoms in each molecule (analyte and IS) in the same way as I would do when using H-NMR?
