Allelopathy refers to the beneficial or harmful effects of one plant on another plant, both crop and weed species, from the release of biochemicals, known as allelochemicals, from plant parts by leaching, root exudation, volatilization, residue decomposition, and other processes in both natural and agricultural systems.
Allelopathy refers to the chemical inhibition of one species by another. The inhibitory chemical is released into the environment where it affects the development and growth of neighboring plants. Allelopathic chemical can be present in any parts of the plant.. The main protocol should be:
1. Learning to identify the sign of Allelopathy. See the sign and symptoms caused by the chemicals of surrounding plants. For example, very few plants grown under Black Walnut.
2. Harvesting plant and plant parts.
3. Testing of allelopathy in the Lab.
