Hi,

I am trying to detect Parkin (a mitochondria related protein) on western blot however my antibody doesn't detect it at the right location (50KDa) but detects a double band at 110KDa. I used SDS buffer to get my protein lysates, boil the samples for 5-10 mins before loading on the gel and used a wet transfer for the gel. Is there anything I am missing or is there a specific procedure to blot for this protein? Thank you for your help
