Likert is a useful tool to differentiate scales or measures of almost anything we wish to measure. Corruption is, however, a very complex result of factors and interrelations. So, one possible way of using Likert is separating some main selected factors of interest (related to corruption) to apply Likert in every case. This can provide a comprehensive overall view of factors´ measures, but then it should be necessary to assign differentiated weights to each factor, to arrive to some quite relevant conclusions.
