I would be ready to answer, but I do not understand Your question well enough. Be so kind to explain wheather You mean the power during some transients, for example during direct connection starting of the motor, or You mean the power for the temporary overloading the motor to its extreme but still stable operation?

In case of transients we speak of instantanous power as the currents, and sometimes voltages as well, are not sinusoidal. This instantanous power during starting of the induction motor, is in the range of 4 - 8 times of the rated power roughly speaking.

I think what you mean by temporary overloading of the motor sounds like what I'm looking for. My requirement is this. Say, for every 10 minutes of running the motor in continuous power, I need 1 minute of it running in its peak power. Thank you. :)
