The peptide I am working with is showing cytotoxicity in cancer cells. Thus, I wonder whether this is due to the cationic surfactant nature of the peptide as it has many cationic groups available for cellular pH. Can any body suggest an experiment which can discriminate the outcome; cell death and cell membrane lysis. Further, the peptide is found to be affecting cellular cytoskeleton and causing apoptotic cell death.
