Dictyostellium is an soil living amoeba and the basic use of this organism is DNA repair, signal transduction, transcription etc. I know the GST-pull down method, but through this technique the antibodies bind with partners instead of direct attachment.

You can use different tags instead of GST eg. hexahistidine or you can use affinity purified antibodies against the bait protein itself rather than against a tag. In principle you can also use any of the other techniques eg. Yeast 2-hybrid, FRET, DuoLink etc.
We recently used a His Tagged repressor to bind to its untagged partner in a two component system. We could make it bind depending on light so we could see it binding or not to a Ni affinity column. This can be done to any pair of proteins but in our case the untagged protein have a iliverdin cofactor so it was easy to see but I guess it may be possible to label the protein with a fluorophore alternatively you may see some change in the UV comparing tagrotein-protein complex to non-complexed tagged progtein
Use GFP-TRAP. It's wonderful. See our recent papers on WASH. A little expensive, mind you, though I gather open-source alternatives may be on the way.
