I am interested in any bioinformatics-related course available online. I am particularly interested in free/not very expensive courses.
Check out Coursera (https://www.coursera.org/course/bioinformatics). Also, you may want to take a look to Udacity(https://www.udacity.com/courses) courses. Even though they have no bioinformatics, there are some programming courses that will be useful for you as a beginner in the area.

For someone starting to learn bioinformatics, there is a collection of free and more advanced paid courses and sample projects on https://edu.t-bio.info
The project is a collaboration between the Tauber Bioinformatics Research Center from University of Haifa, Israel and several US entities. The courses provide an overview of bioinformatics, cover many of the commonly used processing techniques for Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) data, as well as show the use of Machine Learning (ML) to analyze high throughput data for various projects.
The online resources are supported by the OmicsLogic training program that helps researchers develop project proposals and analyze data from public domain or proprietary sources.
