So many Peoples are working on PGPR and as a preliminary screening everyone are using these individual media/Chemicals. Is it possible to develop a media or strip (Just like commercial available strip for Biochemical properties in Bacteria) which can give results of many PGPR properties simultaneously?? On a single agar plate or liquid media?
Very interesting question and i appreciate the post . Screening PGPRs in -vitro has different value than screening them in -vivo. In-vitro screening is aone-to-one interaction , while screening in -vivo again has a different impact ,since in field , trillions of other micorbes , which we are not in a position to culture them interact in field. This is the reason , we neeed to evaluate them in-vitro and in-vivo both. Yes, it is quite possible to evaluate them simultaneously through progress response sstudies, why not. But , we need confirm first their PGPR property , then study their complimentraity , thereby , double ensuring about absenc eof any antagonisms amongst them...
No such media available till date to check many properties in single media. Yes you can try & can be commercialized.
