I used a Spectrum Two to record my data. However I´m having problems at reading them, since I haven´t been able to import it to origin.
I´ve already exported the data into .ASC and .CSV files, it worked on excel but not in Origin. Maybe I´m doing something wrong at exporting them. I´d like to know if there´s a manual for the Spectrum software to analyze the data directly there without having to export it.
I used a Spectrum 1 and exported all the data into Grams software (from Thermo). It is really good spectral analysis software and more appropriate for spectral analysis.
I’m not an origin user, but I’ve run into problems with other chemometrics style programs importing csv‘s with headers. Might be worth opening one file in a text editor and stripping out everything except the data values and seeing if origin will then take it. Alternatively, you could use something like spectragryph,it will pretty much open anything you throw at it and allow you to do most spectral stuff (no stats or anything though) but it might be enough to get you out of trouble.
