Bigfoot (sometimes also addressed as Sasquatch, Yeti etc. different names in different geographical areas) is a large, hairy, bipedal cryptid ape or hominid-like creature that is claimed to inhabit in mountains / forests.  There are also many sightings (see YouTube search), extra-large footprints, unidentified hairs, unrecognized voice recorded etc. to prove the existence of Bigfoot etc.

But this article indicated there is no existence of Bigfoot:

Want to ask is there any scientific research being conducted on bigfoot, sasquatch, yeti etc.?  If yes what are the research outcomes to date?  Is there any scientific or empirical evidence to prove their existence in the era now e.g. capturing one, autopsy result of their skeletal remains?  If no, what are the processes / steps that we need to put in place in order to capture any hard evidence.  Feel free to share your input for knowledge contribution.
