I have been going through literature regarding chemosensation in gut, and i came across 2 terms - SCC (solitary chemosensation cells) and Tuft cells. The difference between them appears to be quite enigmatic.

For me they are similar, but I would like to gain more clarifications in this aspect. Could anyone help me with this please!

Thanks in advance.
