As probiotics can become a normal habitant in human G.I system and genotypes of probiotics can be transferred to commensal bacteria in human G.I. Particularly, antibiotic resistance of probiotics must be checked out for the safety. Moreover, GM probiotics are normally selected using antibiotic resistance as a selective marker.
