Is there any analysis to measure cell nucleus or DNA as a quantitative method?

as you know, in tissue engineering, Dapi staining usually use for nucleus detection or DNA content as a qualify analysis. in other words, we can not measure amount of the cells helping dapi staining. does anyone know about alternative method to obtain amount of nucleus or DNA content?

Hi Vahid,

If I understand your question correctly, one approach is to use flow cytometry to get a relative quantification of DNA content, where you'd fix cells, digest RNA, label DNA with propidium iodide (PI) or even DAPI, and analyze your cell population based on dye content.
