I am trying to investigate the relationship between sugar absorption level and artery wall thickening due to arteriosclerosis.I read that inflammation cause increased level of sugar absorption. Is   arteriosclerosis causes any inflammation in artery walls? If happen like this will it cause increased level of sugar absorption in artery wall of patients with arteriosclerosis ?
