I have gone through various growth models and product formation models for bacteria, such as the Monod model, Leudking Piret model, Tosier model, Verthrust model, etc., However, are there any models or equations to assess product formation or growth for filamentous fungi?

I attempted using the Leudking Piret model to model the enzyme secretion by Trichoderma. However, since Cellulase (product) is not a secondary metabolite as it is produced rapidly during the initial log phase of the growth (I have gone through articles which say so, as well), I have not been able to entirely fit it to the equation. Moreover, as cellulase is being secreted, it hydrolyzes the cellulosic media and it results in the fungus feeding on the hydrolyzed cellulose (glucose) instead of producing cellulases (which is my intended product), thereby exhibiting a diauxie. Moreover, culture heterogeneity in the broth is posing a lot of problems; we have primary and secondary mycelia with different characterisitcs. I would love to learn from a renowned senior Professor like you, sir. Please advise me.
